Halloween in Hunter Wellies

Hunter Wellies, Ghosts and things not right, is all you need for an All-Hallows Eve night.  Halloween, Hallomas, All Hallows Day just to name a few, is celebrated each year on the 31st of October.  This is a mix of ancient Celtic practices, Roman and Catholic religious rituals and European folk traditions blended together creating superstition and celebration all rolled into one. 

What will you be doing this year?  Well if you are in or near around Stratford upon Avon there is plenty of trick & treating and ghost haunting fun you can enjoy.  William Shakespeare even mentions the practice of souling [trick or treating] in his comedy The Two Gentlemen of Verona (1593), when Speed accuses his master of "puling [whimpering] like a beggar at Hallowmas."
